Stearic for, Candles

Crazy Sutra Stearic Wax is extensively utilized in the production of candles. It is used to harden the wax and strengthen the candle. It, also, has an impact on the melting point of the wax, improving the durability and consistency of the candle. In addition, stearic Wax is used in the production of soap; it hardens soaps. It gives products (shampoos/body washes, crèmes) a pearly color when used in combination with lye (NaOH or similar products to raise pH). Improves consistency of the finished products.

  2. Amazon Customer

product description is sketchy. DONT BUY FOR COSMETICS!

package only says for candle making yet amazon’s title says it’s for cosmetics too? can’t sell a product if its inaccurate! seller will not disclose ingredients. animal or veg based? i needed this for cosmetics but cannot use if there is no additional or accurate info on packaging! waste of money do not buy!

  3. Ankit S.

    Good

    Got as expected

  4. Poteet

    Stearic Acid

Unfortunately, there was a big rip in the bag, and the majority of the product had spilled out. I was only able to use a small portion, what I used seem to be okay. Be careful when packaging.
